Primitive Beginnings, a young women’s apparel retailer that started online and operates an Ellicott City store, plans a second location in Fells Point. The store will open Dec. 1 at 1641 Thames Street. Ellicott City resident Katy Miller started the business as online-only in 2007. She and co-founder Jeff Braswell opened a shop on Ellicott City’s Main Street in late March. Braswell is now the sole owner. The retailer offers clothing, shoes, home decor and jewelry and other accessories. The shop specializes in products by U.S. artists and in-house designed clothing.
