It had a comfortable interior with a Mediterranean feel, but was best described as a “shack”, Ms Turner said. She said the property attracted the holiday market, with most potential buyers coming from Adelaide. An exception was a London buyer with happy memories of staying there as a child, who was unable to organise finance in time to make a bid for it. “There were two registered bidders (at auction) and another three waiting in the wings, wanting to do more research with the council on what could be done with it,” Ms Turner said. “It’s a pretty special, very unique place. Myponga Beach sits about 72km south of Adelaide’s CBD and has no listed median house price with CoreLogic due to a lack of sales, but in nearby Myponga, the median house price is $311,000. NORTH RAIN didn’t deter motivated buyers from putting their best bit forward in Elizabeth North over the weekend. A four-bedroom home at 17 Womma Rd sold at auction for its advertised price guide of $165,000, following a three-week auction campaign. 17 Womma Road, Elizabeth North sold at auction for $165,000.Source:Supplied Marketed as a renovator’s delight with “outstanding development opportunity”, listing agent
