Bronx slasher hit with $150G bail after slicing man's face

A Bronx man who slashed a stranger across the face with a box cutter so badly that he needed over 100 stitches was slammed with $150,000 bail on Friday.

“I’m going away for a while,” a resigned Michael Hall, 31, told police after turning himself in for slashing an 38-year-old man outside a bodega on Melrose Ave. near E. 161st St. Tuesday night.

According to a criminal complaint, Hall told cops he had argued with his victim moments earlier, calling him a pedophile.

Hall admitted to then buying a 50-cent razor from the bodega, approaching the man and cutting him, court papers state.

He turned himself in after recognizing himself on horrifying video released by the NYPD.

“I didn’t want my mother having no issues, so I came in,” he said, according to the complaint.

Hall was charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
