The struggle was real for Tiger Woods on Saturday. After a successful Thursday and Friday, Woods improved late in his third round after a rough start, shooting a 3-over 75, falling to 4-under for the tournament. Check out our hole-by-hole analysis of Tiger's third round below. Tiger Tracker Hole No. 18: Par 4, 470 Yards OFF THE TEE (4:29 p.m. ET): This one is down the right side of the fairway. A birdie-birdie finish to salvage a 74 is possible! APPROACH SHOT (4:33 p.m. ET): Not bad. He knocks this one about 25 feet below the pin. This should be a par at worst. ON THE GREEN (4:37 p.m. ET): He nearly holes this long birdie effort, but that is a closing par. It’s a 3-over 75 that frankly could’ve been a lot worse. Woods looked really out of sorts today. A positive is how well he grinded. That’s important. Otherwise, this was not a fun day. That close to a birdie-birdie finish.A 75 for @TigerWoods in Round 3. — PGA TOUR (@PGATOUR) December 2, 2017 TIGER ON THE DAY: 3-over 75 (T-10) Hole No. 17: Par 3, 173 Yards OFF THE TEE (4:21 p.m. ET): Again, we wish Tiger had found this early. That’s terrific execution, as knocks one right of the flag and it funnels left. He’s just past the hole and inside 10 feet for birdie. ON THE GREEN (4:24 p.m. ET): BURIED IT. Tiger confidently knocked that left-to-right slider in the heart. That’s a second birdie in four holes. This is a nice late surge to give this round some juice. TIGER ON THE DAY: 3 over thru 17 (T-10) Hole No. 16: Par 4, 485 Yards OFF THE TEE (4:07 p.m. ET): Tiger finds the left side of the fairway here. That was pristine. APPROACH SHOT (4:15 p.m. ET): Tiger hits a beauty from 176 yards. That one goes right over the flag and he’ll have 12 feet for birdie. ON THE GREEN (4:19 p.m. ET): That putt slides by on the right. A good opportunity missed but that’s an easy par. TIGER ON THE DAY: 4 over thru 16 (T-11) Hole No. 15: Par 5, 548 Yards OFF THE TEE (3:55 p.m. ET): Tiger goes left off the tee here and he’s in the waste sand area it appears. Momentum from that birdie might be gone. SECOND SHOT (3:56 p.m. ET): Tiger’s drive ended up OK, and he lays up into the fairway. THIRD SHOT
