Montini Catholic Family and Friends Celebrate "Mission Nights" at Giordano's

Under the leadership of Campus Minister, Michael Blanchette, Montini Catholic's service ministry program teamed up with Giordano's Pizza in Oakbrook to host "Montini Mission Nights" every Tuesday in October. Tuesday, the 18th was "the big night," however, with Bulls and Hawks raffles and give-a-ways throughout the evening. Giordano's donated 15% of every ticket to Montini, with money earned going toward the high school's mission trips.

"Called by our Lasallian mission of faith, service, community and social justice, Broncos participate in service and immersion experiences both at home and abroad," explained Mr. Blanchette, who plans on taking his third trip to Nicaragua with students next summer. "The location and objectives vary and have included building new homes or renovating existing homes with Habitat for Humanity or traveling to Nicaragua to build homes for single moms who work at the garbage dump to make a living to support their children."
