Dominican University will host a Fair Trade Fair-just in time for the holidays-on Monday, November 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the atrium of the university's Parmer Hall, 7900 W. Division Street. The event will feature a wide range of products created by international artisans and sold by Chicago area organizations dedicated to sustainability, ethical production methods, fair wages and safe working conditions for workers across the world. In most cases, the products are sourced directly from artisans and brought to the United States.
Products from the following organizations will be included:* Enactus (North Central College)-a national organization focusing on teaching primarily college students about socially conscious business ethics, entrepreneurship and global markets. The group will be selling coffee from Guatemala.
