A guide to holiday fun from Nutcrackers to sing-alongs

Celebrate the joys of the holidays with a sleighful of concerts, plays, dance productions and other festive family events to help make the season bright.

Ugly Christmas Sweater Pub Crawl, sponosred by the Edison Park Chamber of Commerce, 6:30-10:30 p.m. Dec. 15. Registration/check-in is at The Mecca Supper Club, 6666 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago. The pub crawl visits Emerald Isle, Moretti's and Edison Park Inn. Admission is $10 and includes food along the crawl, drink specials and raffles. "Miracle on Main Street," the Lake Zurich tree lighting festivities, take place 4:30-7 p.m. Dec. 3 in Rotary Park, 7 E. Main St., Lake Zurich. The 35-foot tree will be lit for the holidays, Santa, Mrs. Claus and their reindeer will greet guests. There will be live music, children's crafts, sleigh rides, adult beverages and food vendors.
