As we celebrate the happy occasion it’s inevitable that we all want to know who the bridesmaids are — but there’s one name that isn’t likely to be on the list, according to a royal expert. Picture: APSource:AP Kate Middleton, aka Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, is not likely to be a bridesmaid at Meghan and Harry’s nuptials according to author Marlene Koenig, who spoke to Cosmopolitan. And more than that, we’re probably not even going to see her in the bridal party. According to Koenig there’s a simple reason for why Kate will be staying out of the limelight. Koenig explains: “The Duchess of Cambridge barely knows Meghan”. Experts say Kate is highly unlikely to be a bridesmaid at the wedding. And being married to Prince William is another reason she won’t be chosen according to Marlene. “For another, she is the future queen consort when William becomes king after his father, and would unlikely be an attending person to another royal bride.” Harry and Markle are set to wed next May at Windsor Castle.
