On Thursday the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office released a photo of one of the robbers in hope of receiving tips from the public on the suspect’s identity. The robbery happened about 4:50 p.m. at Hops & Vines, 8993 Spruce Mountain Road, the sheriff’s office said. The trio approached the clerk as she was standing outside the business and followed her inside. They demanded money and that she open the safe. One of the robbers put a gun to the clerk’s head. At least two robbers were armed; they wore all black clothing, including black ski masks. They fled in a small white car, possibly a Honda or Mitsubishi, the sheriff’s office said. Anyone with information on the robbery or who recognizes the man in the photo is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 303-814-7085.
