At a moment in time when the world is taking an imaginative look at the Mile High City and its future, you can get an inspired vision of your own part in that at an open house Dec. 2 for Lakehouse — the 12-story high-rise community underway in the Sloans neighborhood, beside Denver’s largest lake. Lakehouse’s innovative wellness concept is oriented around fitness, nutrition, social interaction and outdoor activities afforded by Sloan’s Lake Park. Visit the sales center Dec. 2 to view the five finalists for the Lakehouse Photo Contest, showing off the natural beauty of the lake. You’ll explore an interactive experience complete with a scale building model, virtual views from individual residences and renderings of amenities — including an expansive lake-view terrace with a 73-foot lap pool, hot tub and organic garden operated by Agriburbia. There’ll be a wellness center with fitness lab; yoga studio and sauna; a “harvest room” and juicer; an aquatics room with gear for use by residents (Sloan’s Lake allows small craft and waterskiing); plus pet spa, bicycle workstation and storage, and more. “You’ll be able to source herbs for a salad right here, onsite,” says Kentwood City Properties’ Matt McNeill, who along with Kevin Garrett and Dee Chirafisi will be on hand today. “This is not just a building, but one with a sense of place,” says developer Trevor Hines, partnered in NAVA Real Estate Development with Brian Levitt. NAVA was drawn to the site, Hines says, for its Sloan’s Lake setting and the opportunity to be part of the Sloans neighborhood transformation. The scale model shows the L-shaped site plan — a residential concept wrapped around the amenity deck and 13 rowhomes (from approximately 1,578 to 2,230 square feet), some with rooftop decks. Sloan’s walkable dining and entertaining are just south. Garrett says that both local and out-of-state buyers are already being drawn to the views that Lakehouse will create — not only west to the mountains, but spanning 360 degrees: Pikes Peak to the south, downtown’s lights to the east, and the lake north. The penthouses will showcase the very best views — including a premier residence planned for the entire north side
